RENEW
(Development of practice-oriented guidelines for the preparation of feasibility studies on the production of renewable energy from organic waste and biomass by biogas plants and biomass combustion plants, with an applied example for Phu Quoc/S.R. Vietnam)

Objective:  To develop practice-oriented guidelines for the preparation of integrated feasibility studies, considering technical, economical, environmental, social and legislative aspects, for the production of renewable energy from organic substrates by biogas or biomass combustion processes. The guidelines will specifically aim at feasibility studies in ASEAN countries. The development of the guidelines will be supported by the exemplary development of a feasibility study for Phu Quoc.

LHTEE Contribution:  Development of guidelines and specifically environmental aspects and simplified life cycle analysis, risk assessment, decision making and planning of procedures; application for Phu Quoc.atabase and metadata use for LCA diffusion, market survey, web site design and prototype realisation and self assessment.
