(Integrated methodology for monitoring, decommission, sanitation and restoration of uncontrolled sites for solid waste disposal)

Objective: The problem of wild disposal sites is addressed by the development of a methodological tool encompassing all necessary/possible stages, in the frame of regional/local solid waste management. An integrated evaluation framework will be formulated for assessing different strategies, the implementation of the selected scheme will be facilitated, various socio-economic and environmental impacts will be assessed and a ready-to use handbook addressing regional and local governments will be developed.
