AIR-EIA

AIR-EIA provides scientific and technical support to all parties involved in or affected by Environmental Impact Assessment studies (EIA) with regard to Air Quality issues (AQ). The project also improves information flow and awareness concerning the EIA issue in all EU countries, leading to a new information market for related multimedia applications. The project framework comprises:

• Collection of all EU legislation concerning EIA/AQ and all on-line available EIA/AQ data (providing complete tools for the whole of Europe).
• Compilation of national level data and EIA/AQ legislation, primarily from Germany and Greece and also from Austria, in order to demonstrate national and harmonisation issues.
• Focus on major needs for EIA/AQ modelling in Austria, Germany and Greece.
• Use of case studies for presentation, comparison and harmonisation purposes.
